do you take comments made about your topics or posts seriously or to heart?
do you get upset if people disagree or patronise you?
I'm kind of sensitive in real life, atleast this is what my bfren tells me, but on the forum I don't give a rats you know what
would you rather date an overweight woman who has a beautiful face or one who isn't overweight and is just plain ugly.
how about a woman with a few curves, say about 20 lbs overweight or so for her height?
discuss.

FHN you are wayyyyyyyyyyy too sensitive. I would have you know that I have been overweight ALL my life, have been on weight watchers for the past 5 years and lost over 35 pounds so I know what it's like to have to struggle with my weight. You don't know the context of my conversation with my friend and I think you're the one being judgemental. I told my friend that a woman shouldn't lose weight for a man but rather for herself and her health. What is so wrong with saying this? and if a woman loses weight for a man like she is doing, after marriage she is more than likely to gain it back because she lost it for the wrong reasons. Trust me I've been in relationships where I felt like the guy wanted me to be skinny and I tried losing weight for him, in the long run I only gained it back and then some. You're right about one thing though, my friend needs to accept her the way she is and hopefully he doens't make her feel as if she has to lose weight for him.
I think you're very sensitive about your own weight and that's why you're jumping to the wrong conclusions on this thread.
ok who is the most predictable on this board?
obves.

bluevice that's a beautiful post
I agree it all depends on whether or not the person cares for herself. A friend of mine is dating a large woman, he's slightly overweight himself so it doesn't matter to him, but this girl likes to eat and eats a lot of junk. She doesn't cook and frequently goes out to eat with friends. Now that she's met my friend she is telling him she wants to lose weight to look good for him. I told him it's good she wants to lose weight especially for her health but if she loses weight for you then she will only regain it once the courtship is over and they are settled into married life. Another thing is that my friend likes to eat healthy and likes home cooked meals. Not sure how that is gonna work thereguess he'll be doing all the cooking and she'll be doing all the eating
